Inspiration Through Adversity

One life-changing morning, a necessary jaw surgery unexpectedly punctured Dr. Lindsey Koble’s eardrum. As a result, she had to seek audiology guidance to monitor her temporary hearing loss. Her audiologist’s compassionate care changed everything. As an 18-year-old at Purdue University deliberating which medical field she would land in, she shifted her education major to audiology and never looked back.

Born and raised on a family farm west of Garrett, Dr. Lindsey has always called DeKalb County “home.” Even after eight years away pursuing her education, she knew she’d return. In 2017, she married her lifelong friend, Trace Koble, and the couple planted their roots across the road from her family farm. Today, as the owner and operator of Audiology Always in Auburn, IN, she’s driven by a passion to provide her hometown and surrounding communities with the most comprehensive and transparent hearing healthcare.

Learning from the Ground Up and Gaining Perspective

As a student, Lindsey didn’t wait for opportunity—she chased it.
Lindsey knew early on that owning her own practice was her ultimate
career goal. She sought out every opportunity she could find
(sometimes 2 hours in distance from her university) for hands on
experience in private practice settings, sharpening her skills and
fueling her resolve. Her career journey took her into an ENT clinic and
then into the role of a Signia hearing aid field representative, giving
her a rare blend of clinical expertise, product knowledge, and industry
perspective. This well-rounded foundation prepared her to
open Audiology Always in 2023—a clinic built to put patients first.
